Welcome to the seventh part of a thirty-two-part series: Reading the NFL Offseason Tea Leaves. Fantasy football tasseography is deeply rooted in predicting future fantasy fortunes. Some of the team tea cups we'll be looking into may be larger than others. The smallest of cups may have the most alluring blends of offensive weaponry, or be set to bloom after a long steep. Like tasseography, the arrangement of these four sections will vary as we digest each team's offseasons and see how the offensive pieces settle. Each article will interpret what the NFL team has told us about its future plans based on what it's done since its 2025 season ended. 

Reading the Tennessee Titans' 2026 Offseason

Draft Day Additions

With the fourth pick in the NFL Draft, the Titans selected Ohio State WR Carnell Tate to pair with last year's No. 1 pick QB Cam Ward. Tate is a massive upgrade to this WR corps.

In the 5th round, the Titans selected RB Nick Singleton, a devy darling in the fantasy community.

Singleton attended the Senior Bowl and appeared to have the best hands amongst the RB group. He struggles with his vision and creativity, but he has the speed and size to punish a defense when rushing lanes open up and can create big plays. He left Penn State as its all-time TD scorer.

In the seventh round, they drafted TE Jaren Kanak, who is more of an athlete than he is a TE.

Free Agency Signings

Former Giants' WR Wan'Dale Robinson signed a four-year $70M deal, making him the 22nd-highest-paid WR in the NFL. Robinson will compete with Calvin Ridley and Tate to be Ward's No. 1 target. The improved WR corps should help create a dynamic passing attack for Ward.

The Titans also signed veteran WR KJ Osborn to fill out their WR room. Ridley's contract was restructured to pay him a $5M bonus for the final two years of his deal, with $6M in achievable incentives for 2026. TE Daniel Bellinger signed a three-year, $24M deal to solidify the TE group after former starting TE Chig Okonkwo signed with the Washington Commanders.

Coaching Changes

The Titans hired a brand new coaching staff, bringing in Head Coach Robert Saleh and Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll. Saleh will orchestrate the defense while giving Brian Daboll full control of the offense.

Daboll is familiar with Ward, as the Giants tried to trade up to select him last year with Daboll as Head Coach. The former Giants head coach showed a strong desire to work with Ward. Daboll is often credited with helping Josh Allen reach his potential, and the Titans are betting that he can elevate Ward's game to the next level.

Expect a much-improved Titans offense in 2026. It's important to note that Daboll and Robinson have been reunited after he had a career year in 2025 and went on to have back-to-back 140-target seasons with Daboll. 

Fantasy Fortunes

Ward must feel like he won the offseason lottery as he heads into year two of his NFL career. While ADP assumes Tate will be the WR1 on this offense, there's a chance Robinson and Ridley are pesky enough to keep Tate from delivering on his ADP. Expect this offense to support a QB2, an RB2, three guys capable of finishing in a WR2-4 range, and a TE2-3.

Tony Pollard is on a streak of four consecutive 1,000 yards rushing seasons. Expect Pollard to lead this backfield in 2026, with a sprinkling of Tyjae Spears and Singleton. Singleton is recovering from a January foot injury at the Senior Bowl and is more of a dynasty stash than a year-one fantasy contributor.

Gunnar Helm is the favorite to win the TE1 role after a promising rookie season last year.

This offense appears to be ascending and is on my short list of teams that may surprise us in 2026.
